New personal Best... What do you think

97 TransAm. A4 WS6

Mods/setup include:

Nitto's
Hooker Catback
Zex Wet Kit. 150Shot.
Ram Air w/ k&n filter
Cats hollowed out.
3.23 gears.
B&M 3000 Converter

Off the spray:
1.8 60Ft
8.8@78MPH 8th Mile
13.8@97MPH

On the spray:
1.6 60FT
7.81@87MPH 8th Mile
12.294@109MPH

ON THE SPRAY:
From what I understand my MPH is low. Could this be due to bottle pressure issues. I ran 3 runs. My first run was 12.3@112mph but I didnt spray out of the whole on that one.

OFF THE SPRAY:
Why the hell am I so slow. I ran 13.7@100 on my stock 93 TA when I owned it and the transmission sucked in that one. Could that 3000 stall be too big for my stock setup?

Re: New personal Best... What do you think

check and see if you have any knock reading..sometimes they get a slight knock from the nitrous if not really tuned for it. rare, but possible. your stall is fine, just pay attention to your 60' times and make sure the stall is consistent and truly flashes to 3000rpm. you should be in the 13.4-13.5 range i'd imagine and possibly a shift kit would fix that. whatever is "wrong" is probably in the first 500' of the track, probably suspension or tranny related.

well u did trap 112, then 109. so the pressure could of been low. but that is a really good 60ft, that couldve eatin up some on the MPH.

I can't speak for the N2O, but NA the mph seems ok. Its all in the track elev and weather. Check to see if you have knock retard during your runs (I did even with a stock tune). Hope this helps. BTW, I WISH I had your 60fts

Headers will probably help quite a bit as well. High 11s shouldn't be a problem.
