new part # slave/master cyl question

I have a 95 TA that I am getting ready to put a new clutch in. Seems like last year I was reading over here about replacing clutches and I ran across a post talking about putting a new master or slave cyl in? Something about GM released a newer one that was better? Seems like my 95 car was one that needed the newer one. Am I remembering that correctly or was this another one of crazy dreams?

I think I remember the post having the old part # and the new part#? I tried searching to no avail.

Thanks

Jason

There is a revised version and is the only one available. I asked Jason Cromer about it and he confirmed this when I ordered it from him. You'll love the master/slave setup. Comes already assembled and filled with fluid, just route everything and you can have it all hooked up in no time. Just call Jason and he'll have the p/n. I believe its about $90-100 or so before shipping.

Cool, THANKS!!

I was wondering though if it is necessary or not to replace it? My car seems to be fine other then the slight slipping of the clutch. If I upgrade will it be that much of an improvement?

Thanks

If you guys get the part number for the "newer" setup, please post it here or let me know, I need one too.

Can't really say. Probably not necessary, but then again not at all a bad idea. I bent the slave pushrod so I needed to replace the setup lol.
