New opti's

Hey I was looking on Summit and they have their own LT1 optisparks for like $250 and GM replacements for like $290. I thought new opti's usually run for a lot higher than that? Maybe I'm wrong, but I need to get a new one soon and I think I might go with one of these unless anyone knows anything about them that might change my mind.

Re: New opti's

Buy one from a gm goodwrench certified dealer. It cost a little more but has a lifetime warranty. And the warranty will be used.

Re: New opti's

Who has the best price online for a new vented GM opti? And what is that price if anyone knows.

Thanks,

Igor.

Lifetime Warranty? Since when?
I thought it was a one year warranty?

Igor: Dal or Jason have the best prices for new GM opti's..

Re: New opti's

you can get the vented ones (Real GM) new for around what you posted.

I haven't seen any lower than $280+shipping.

The non-vented opti's are a bit more $$$$

Did GM merge with BFGoodrich?

I've seen a couple reports posted here already regarding failures of the Summit Opti.

Re: New opti's

Igor: Take a look at the link Injuneer posted and also you can get them at summitracing.com but stay away from the Summit brand opti's apparently. They have an OEM replacement for about $290.
