I ordered a new opti from Dal back in DEC. Mine was starting to miss. Dal sent it and I installed it. This was my second opti install(150,000mi) It never ran correctly after the install. very hard to start. so I decided to go back and install my old opti to see if it would start easily. bingo started right up. My question is has anyone had a defective opti that was new? I've contacted Dal about replacing it only a month old.

 

anything is possible, expecialy with electronics

 

The opti's are somewhat notorious for being bad out of the box. It should be covered under warranty.

 

Yep, it happened to me TWICE!

 

Last month my opti went, took 3 thats right 3 new ones till I was good to go. 1 just flat out didn't work, the second was assebled 90 degrees out of TDC the third one was fine, so far.

Opti-CRAP for sure
