Question New Opti Coming, Whats should I do?

I have a 94 Z, already installed headers and exhaust and cold air. I have about 1000$ to spend, I really have to do an opti, but not to sure what all I need to completely replace that. Also I want to do a Cam Kit as well, but again not sure what all is needed or recomended for that either. Any tips, suggestions, or sites that would help me learn more about either would be appreciated....

Thanks in advance
Mike

He's right. I went ahead and replaced my opti before it went out and you have to take the water pump off to do it so might as well replace that too. And it is always suggested to replace plugs and wires after an opti change. Whatever you do thoug, don't go with platinum plugs.

Shoulda said that as well, already done MSD 6AL Box along with plugs and wires, was mainly looking for a checklist of parts to do the opti replacement and possibly the Cam Install.

The only "must have" for replacing the opti is water pump gaskets. If you have any oil seal leak on the timing cover, you would want to take care of them while you are there.
