New Opti = 90% how do i get to 100%?

Got a new opti on and it took care of most of my high rpm stumble, and the car is alot smother through all the rpm's.

Also got a new ICM a few weeks ago (didnt notice any difrence.

Now i have a small stumble still left, i guess i could try a new coil and wires. Wich one os more likley to cause a small stumble in high rpm's?

BTW took the old Opti apart and it had corrtion on all the posts of the cap and on the rotor, i scraped off the corrotion from the post and it had eat half wat through the post .

A little more work and i think i will finally have my car at 100% and ready to put in my stall converter and then NAAAAWWWWWS

If, your cap and rotor are in that bad of shape. I would say, you need to replace your plugs and wires..
How many miles are on the clock?

THe opti had about 140K, wires and coil have 1 year (maybe 10K)

Was the damage to the opti done by bad wires and or coil?

Normal wear and tear. They don't last forever.

Change the plugs and wires. My car had MSD wires on it from a previous owner and they made the car stumble quite a bit under accelaration. I found Delco's to be the best. They are not as big but they handle the heat better. I changed the wires and plugs and all hesitation and stumbles went away.
