New oil pan gasket

Ok I'm going to put on a new oil pan gasket. A Felpro 1 piece.

Do you still use silicone where the corners of the pan meet the front cover and rear main oil seal and 1 inch up the ends of the arches on the front cover and rear main seal housing.

Reason I ask is a note in the gasket pack states install dry no adhesive.

Yep - they will leak if installed dry.

Silicone in the corners and up over the curve of the seal adapter and timing cover, then lay the seal in place, then again with the silicone in the corner and up over the curve on front and rear.

I've never had an oil leak and I've always installed them bone dry...just saying.
