"NEW" LE1 Dyno Numbers

Hey everyone, recently my pick up tube fell off the oil pump so I figured why the car was going to be in the air I would put on the last few bolt ons I had laying around...those being an Meziere elec w/p and a ported intake from Jordan Musser. On a side note while I was at RPM, Brian let me take a peak at the Dominion (Aero) headed monster in the parking lot. It was great to see it finally all together and looking awesome, I remember that car from way back in the Speedworks days. The car put down 662 with about 9 pounds of boost IIRC. They said they changed pullies and the next set of pulls was going to be at 24 POUNDS! Anyway here are my dyno sheets, one is the best pull from my last trip and the other is the best pull from today.

Edit: Sorry for it being so big, I've tried to resize it several times and it's just not working

Re: "NEW" LE1 Dyno Numbers

So you gained almost 20rwhp with an e-wp and ported intake?

I know, I was pretty amazed myself. Here is the before and after graph he gave me today. It was my lowest pull last time compared to my best pull this time.

Re: "NEW" LE1 Dyno Numbers

This car is a great example of attention to detail and complimenting parts and the result on the dyno sheet. I believe it was even dynoed with some shorty headers a while back and was only in the 360 range with a bad tune possibly.

A few bolt ons, more tuning, better headers, ported intake, etc and the thing is putting down some impressive #'s for that small cam.

It's all about the supporting mods, no one thinks they are that important. On a side note, I can't wait to get my intake back and see what I gain with it.

Thanks for the kind words Lloyd. You're right, when I first got it done it only put down 348 and that was with SLP shorties and dual cats. Later after I got my car back I was very disappointed with the work the shop did and ended up having to redo everything. I even went back to a mail order tune. Hopefully next week I can drop my car off at Speedworks and get a dyno tune to sort out my driveability issues and squeeze a few more ponies out of it. FWI Lloyd, I just bought a 97 WS6 and I'm planning on building it for all out performance so I'll be in touch with you in a few months now that I have a sweet *** daily driver Thanks again for everything! I almost forgot that I should thank Mr. Anderson for putting together the short block, obviously he did an awesome job of putting everything together. If you live in the Lewisville area you should definitely check him out!

That statement is so true, you can't just throw a H/C into a car and expect it to work great, every little bit counts. In fear of sounding like Bret, I think the valvetrain is one of the most important pieces and also the most overlooked

It's not just that either, 58mm throttle body, ported intake, longtubes, true duals, dyno tune, the valvetrain like you said, every little bit adds up, 5hp here, 5hp there, ect...
