new injectors?

Ok, if I go with a 383 stroker, will I need bigger injectors than stock? I'm thinking of going with LT4 heads, a good cam, and a 383 stroker kit. Also, where is a good place to find an LT4 intake so the heads work?

Depends on how much HP you plan to make. My personal feelings are that up to 400flywheelHP you can stick with the stock 24's, then move up to 30's for 400-500flywheel. But there are people here who will tell you they are making 450HP with 24's. I don't like to push the duty cycle beyond 85%. You can also increase the flow capacity of the injectors, within reason, by raising the rail pressure. At 58 psi (4 bar) your 24's (actually "programmed as 24.9 by GM) will be equal to 28's.

On the LT4 intake, have the intake supplied/ported by the same person who ports your LT4 heads. The "stock" LT4 intake does not seem to support increased flow in the LT4 heads without some significant porting. A well ported LT4 intake can actually improve a healthy set of LT4 heads even nmore.

i personally would not go with lt4 heads i would get your stockers ported by loyd and spend the money on the bottom end. you could save alot of money on the heads if you use the stock heads and intake and have them ported. then with the extra money on the bottom you could spray the crap out of it with less worry, and being able to spray more juice and not worry you would be making up the difference in power by spraying more juice.

let me go to say i do not have a 383 but i would look hard at the route you go with the heads alot of mistakes are made here. but when you already have the stock heads and intake you might as well use them i dont think the cfm gain you get is worth buying the lt4 heads. and if your going to buy heads buy afrs.

jmho. take it for worth its worth

For you setup I would get 30# or 36# injectors.
