New ICM, still not starting!
I installed a new icm and made sure all my sensors were hooked back up. Checked the fuses again to make sure they were all good. I already made sure the wires were all connected, and the plugs were tight, and the car still cranks and cranks, but will not start. I just cant see the opti taking a dump just like that. Last time(2 years ago) it just would backfire, but it started. What are my other options? I am about to have it towed to a shop, god im gonna hate that. Any more input b4 i do this would be great. Thanks

Put the e brake on, and in Neutral. Make sure it is in N.
Run a wire from the small post on the starter, to the + battery terminal and see if it fires. If it does you safety switch is bad.
If that fails, you can always try a little starting fluid. That will start the car even if you are getting very little spark and fuel for a sec.

Two other culprits could be the coil, or the coil wire to the Opti. I feel your pain, I'm in the same situation, and have gone through $300 in fixes without solving the problem (going to try coil wire tonight). I'm going to try the test above tonight as well. Good luck!
