New Hotcam dyno numbers inside...

My last combo that consisted of the hotcam kit, home-ported heads, slp short-tube headers, Moroso CAI and stock catback with a Flowmaster muffler made:
294rwhp@5800rpm and 300rwtq@4000rpm (untuned)

I went back to the dyno today, and this time with the hotcam, home-ported heads, Moroso CAI, Hooker long-tubes, and a true dual exhaust setup, the car made:
340rwhp@5800rpm, 350rwtq@4200rpm (untuned)

The old combo was thrown together in a hurry, but this time, we (me, my brother and my father, who has been a mechanic for the last 30 years) took the time and made sure it was done right and it seems to have paid off I am hoping to find another 20-25rwhp with tuning and rev-limiter set to 6200rpm instead of 5800rpm.

Looks good, it should make some really good power when tuned.

Oh yeah, it was right at 13 to 1 through 4000rpm, then started to dip, ending up at about 11 to 1 by 5800 rpm. I thought it was pretty damn good for a untuned car.

Not too bad at all. You'll probably see 10-15 more at most up top I'd think. That's pretty stout!!

I am not expecting much from the tuning, however, moving the rev-limiter up to around 6200rpm should give me a little additional power as the graph was still climbing up pretty steeply when the rev-limiter kicked in.

What's the rest of your setup?? I've got a hotcam/heads combo and am only putting down 345/360 after the dyno tune. I think it's a combination things on my car, but would like to see what you've got otherwise.

Home-ported heads, Hotcam, Moroso CAI, Hooker long-tubes, true-dual exhaust, OBD1 conversion, LT4 KM, stock everything else (except for the chassis/suspension stuff).

And I guess I should update my signature, decided not to put in the 383ci LT1 in just yet. It is sitting in the garage, waiting for new heads...

Nice dyno man, a good tune should really wake that car up.
