New H/C record

on stock shortblock on the b-body side of the LT1 is 11.95 at 113mph 4150lbs with driver.

This is a daily driven car at least till the snow flies. This was at Great Lakes Dragaway sunday which is 150miles each way from home, driven not trailered.

Played a few dragstrip games like opening the exhaust(gained less than .1), pulled the belt, swaybars and some easy weight but still had street tires up front one of which left the ground .

Highlights on mods are a "ramair" intake the RAISS for those familiar
f-body MAF
58mm TB
Advanced Induction 190cc heads and a cam mid 220s intake and under .570 lift
1 5/8 round port midlength headers
x-pipe to Dynomax UltraFlo 2.5" mufflers and resonators which apparently work very well given I ran 12.0s with that connected
3400 ProEdge and a ProBuilt Automatics street/strip 4L60E
3.73s and an eaton posi in the 8.5" rear axle
Suspension is stock springs Monroe Severe service shocks in front and Bilsteins in back. Airlift bags in back set 20/25psi
Back tires were 26x10.50 QTPs on centerlines
Jeff Creech did the tuning

I am debating starting to actually set it up to race, I still have a mechanical WP and a hitch on the car the hitch even still gets used a little for dragging a fishing boat to the lake.

Very good. That is quite an accomplishment given the weight of the car. I assume that is a 355 base motor? Gives me hope for high 11's in my Trans Am.

Congrats on the new best! Some F-bodies don't run those times.

Awesome times...I laughed aloud at the thought of you pulling your fishing boat around town.

Laugh all you want it is true. I get the same number of funny looks with this semi loud numbers on the windoew pig at the boatlaunch as I do at the track. People do not expect a hotrod at the launch or a land yatch at the strip.

I like that, a boat pulling a boat. And no I'm not making fun of your car. Those are some really impressive #'s you have there.
