hey guys, im not new to this message board, i just sold my v6 camaro and got a 1996 camaro z28 m6. its a beauty, but this guy in a 1st generation camaro wants to race me for money, and i know he has a 327 in it, just woundering what kinda heat i have, and what kinda heat does he have, i belive it is stock with flowmaster mufflers. thanks

That car has been around almost 40 years. Who knows what it has done to it. Maybe it's stock though who knows. I wouldn't race for anymore money than your willing to lose.

 

take it to the track proving who is faster is not worth killing innocent people

 

Your car can run high 13's stock, I don't think a stock 1st gen 327 could do that, I'd guess it would run high 14's. If you're a decent driver you should be able to take him. I would doubt his 1st gen 327 is still "stock" though
