Re: New girl in your rows

If you have alot of money i would say keep it, but because parts are probably scarce and the labor will be expensive it may not be worth it. If you enigne knocks and leaks oil, it sounds like it was over-boosted with the supercharger and mayeb spun a bearing. What is your oil pressure at? In any case I'm sure you will need to rebuild it, but i would order parts from the US to do so. Are you planning on doing the work yourself?

Bye Monika
Car and problem MAY be real, but the claim of a German girl needing to be cared for by an experienced man on this forum is FOS. The bad grammer is sooo deliberate its not even funny. Anyhow, good luck with the car.

Yeah, the thought of a chick that likes F-bodies, but speaks very limited English sounds too good to be true!!!

I don´t want to be dependent on garages, because they will tell me that the best is what they sell. What do you guys think? :-)

If you are really interested, I can post my pics. I am in a team with few guys who have S2000, Civic, Integra, BMW 850i and they still laugh at me, that I have US car, which can´t handle well at corners. :-( What would you tell them?

LOL, tell them my near stock LT1 has taken out Porsche 944 Turbos, S200's, BMW M3's ect
If you want to laugh at them get some sub frame conectors, springs, shocks, sway bars, torque arm, and a few other small things and you wull be able to pass them on the outside lane

Monika. Lucky I found you here of all places. You must not have heard of us. www.fbodyeurope.org Check us we can help ya w/ just about anything.

Where are you located? We are based out of West Germany Kaiserslautern but we are really spread all over europe. From the sound of it it may just be better to rebuild it w/ forged internals if it isn't done already that way it can handle the boost. We can talk more once I hear from you. I go by the name SRZ on our message board. Hope to hear from you!

Oh by the way I own a 93 and we race at Hockenheim & Nurnburgring w/ the big boys and we can handle w/ the best of them if built right. Don't listen to your friends they're jealous.

Re: New girl in your rows

I love German girls. Way back when we had exchange students come for like two weeks. There was this girl i was too afraid to talk to, I was young. I should have made her stay....lol. You wouldn't be the one would you? Ever been to Michigan? Where you from?

But anyway welcome to the board. Looks like you'll have no problems getting questions answered around here. Welcom and it's nice to have you.
