New everything and still slow- computer??

Well after a stock re-build of the bottom end- AFR heads, CC305 cam, Full FLP headers, New trans with 3000 stall, 4.1- in the rear, and all the other bolt ons......suspension still stock......still running slow...should this be in the high 12'z by now......or am i dreamng to larger......computer issue's maybe.

Is a computer upgrade necessary at this point and what kind of upgrade....

One problem i seem to be having is plugs and wires....went through one set already still seem to have a misfire...what could it be.

Any advice would help out.>>>

Thanks

I don't see anything about a tune. Got one recently?

That is where i am at i guess........talked to a few people with conflicting advice.........going to have a dyno work out by the weekend to see where i am with everything....what numbers would you expect it to turn........What type of tune is appropriate at this point.

Any advice would be helpful

Thanks

I would get it dyno tunned or at least a mail order tune.

Running right it should make 340-350 rwhp on a M6 car and a bit less on a A4 car.

Yeah, I'd put you right around 350rwhp.

A great tune will help drastically with your modifications. Your in Bryan Herters area. you ought to give him a call for a dyno tune. Or hes gotten so good with all of his tune from experience that they come out perfect 99% of the time.

Tuning is great on a stock car, going into the engine without it is begging to only get half the gains you should. It is exacly like not rejetting a carb or resetting the timing after engine mods and not even resetting the rev limits and shift points. With even just a good mailorder tune you will see signifigant gains at this point.
