Smile New engine build from Victory Racing

I think that Nick at Victory Racing Engines and I are through thrashing out the details of the rebuild. I have high hopes that the engine will repay his attention to details with an appropriate improvement in output and a big increase in longevity. I am especially impressed with his willingness to discuss the more mundane aspects that he probably sees as formula and I see as mysterious.

I had the engine built with these same AFR heads in a unmilled 74.3 cc configuration previously. We are milling them to 64 cc and angle milling the intake to match. One of the heads then is going to Diamond Racing Products for 3D modeling the chamber to create the proper piston top. That level of customization is amazing to me. Nick has spec'd the pistons to allow for a generous shot of nitrous. This build should give us approximately 13.1 static compression so I will be running 110 octane even without the nitrous.

When are you going to get them gold-plated?
