New coolant head temp sensor?

Do you guys know if you can pick one of these up at autozone or advance parts? I busted mine last night..

I don' t think so unless they started to carry dealer parts recently.

Might not be ACDelco, but most sensors are available at auto supply stores.

I work at Carquest...We have them in stock...not AC Delco though....

they have it listed as Temperature switch... they told me they didn't carry them till i played onthe puter while they weren't looking..

I went with autozone brand last time (Wells) and it just didnt work right for me. I went with factory AC Delco (cost little extra) and now it work great with correct temp readings.

I just said frig the stock one. and ordered up a 2 1/4 Autometer one w/ sender.. Tired of inaccuracy to be honest.. but the "aftermarket" one's tend to be more generic where as a GM one will work more accurately..

Doesnt the computer use the one on the water pump and the one on the head goes to the dash?
