New combo coming up...opinions?

Ok here's the plan in the next few weeks:

Cam GTP IV
.226/.236
.531/.560 w/1.6

EX612 valvetrain kit from cmotorsports
Lifters
Pushrods
timing chain (cmotorsports factory replacement type)
CSI waterpump
Hooker shorties (I know I know)
1.6 RR
Catco Hi-Flow cat
MSD 8.5's
Plugs etc... tuneup basically.

Goal: 12.xxxanythingxxxxx

Future:
1)The heads that go with the cam. I'm very disappointed that i'm unable to add the heads that a buddy of mine used with this cam right now. I'm hoping they are there when money is better.

2)N20

This is a daily driver ~60miles~ roundtrip.

I've been told that it will be fine for my application, even not having a power adder at the moment.

Thanks to GREASE for helping me with the upcomming install, and CANTONRACER for his tech assistance as well.

If this doesn't belong in tech just move it, but, i'm looking for opinions on how you think the combo will run. NOT 1/4 mile times, how will it run as a driver?

Sometimes we gotta do what we've gotta do with what we have. I think it looks good, and seems like you know what to do next.
Good luck with it!

Yeah, unfortunately I have to roll with this right now. I know the heads will make a big difference.

Sounds like what I'm doing. How come you are going with that cam? You can a very similar one with the cam package from combination. Probably save yourself at least 100$. Check it out in the group purchase forum.

Getting it from a friend of mine, not sure the deal can be beat. That's a good thing.

I'm really wanting to know how it's street manners are going to be.

You probably should have find out how these parts affect driveability before deciding on them. However, since its still a fairly mild cam, you should be fine. You don't have anything too radical going on. Have fun with it.
