Alright awesome....this will definitly save people money when going with the group purchase. I didnt think there would actually be one before but now its looking good so I'm excited. Just gotta get someone with some knowledge with the gp's so we can set this thing up. Where that guy go from cmotorsports he'd be able to answer most of these questions...lol.

Well, I've got bad news. I talked to one of the tech guys at cmotorsports and the group purchase is no longer going on for lt1's. I think the most recent one was for the ls1's and i dont even think that one is going on anymore. He said to hold off for a month or so and they should have some deals going on since everyone is starting to store their cars and looking to start the winter projects. So I'm gonna wait a little while longer and then in about a month or so see how many people are still interested in the cam kits and I'll call them back with the number of people i have and see if we can get a deal....its worth a try.

Did they say you would be able to pass emissions with that cam on a 112 lsa? How is the sound? Can you tell that you have a cam in there or does it sound like stock?

I ordered an XE 224/230 cam kit from you guys but never installed due to time restraints/work/school. Cam is still in the bag, i wanted to know if i wanted to trade up for a bigger cam would i be able to? I have my eyes on the 227/233 cuz it lifts really good and seems very streetable.

I didn't really ask them about emissions. I talked to my tuner and he said he could make it pass. I've had mixed reactions as far as if you can tell there's a cam. I can definitely tell, but others said it doesn't have a lot of chop. Maybe I'll post a vid sometime and let you guys decide

Indy, how's the steetability of this cam? I'm looking around for something to make a nice gain on the LT4, but I don't want something that's going to be really obnoxious. A little lope is fine, and I don't mind adjusting the idle a little higher, but I drive mine about 7500 miles a year so I don't want it to be a real pain in the rear end. I've been thinking about the LT4 hotcam just because I woun't need to change anything else on the engine, but I'd really like the most power I can get.

It feels very streetable to me. That was my main reason for choosing it over something bigger. It felt fine even before I got it tuned. Now with tuning it feels really nice.
