New Cam????

Hey fellas, if this sounds incorrect, please correct me. I hear that there are cams that are coming out that are ground a bit differently and change the firing order on the engine of 2 cylinders??? Suppose to make the engine run smoother. Question is.....this is supposed to work on carbarated engines but would it work with EFI? Anyone have any info on this please post...

A cam change alone won't change the firing order, it just changes the valve positions.

comp cams 4 and 7 swap camshaft. its supposed to create a smother torque cures with only a minmal hp increase if any. . And fuel injected cars are going to have a different grind. So even if it did work the gains would only be worth it if you were in a highly competive drag class.

Am I wrong or couldnt you just plumb the sparkplugwires and injector harnesses to match the firing order?
