Angry New in box opti broken!!

My car has been down for almost 2 weeks now with the infamous 16 36 42 error list. So I order a new opti from Jason. I finally get it and the number one terminal for the plug wire to plug into is completly snapped off . Can I just bring this to my local GM dealership and they would replace it with a new one since it is still brand new??

Just a few days ago on here someone asked that same question. My understanding about exchanging the part was that as long as you have the receipt for the part that you can exchange it at your local dealership.

Sad to here about the problems.

Stuff happens. Do what Ken said and see if you can get another. Of course, if you call Jason, he will get you another one, too.

Re: New in box opti broken!!

I had to send it back to Jason because it was damaged during shipping
the plastic plug holder and electrical connector was snapped right off, otherwise the dealership in my area was going to take it back...I overnighted it back to him and he said once he gets it he will overnight another one to me.. What a P.I.T.A!!!! UPS just doesn't have any respect for other people's property whatsoever huh??

Has to go back to the place of purchase, unfortunately. Delco has a 12month 12000 mile warranty on them, and I've had two warrantied so far already.

I think those guys that got exposed on 60 minutes(or whatever show it was) that worked for Northwest Airlines and were cuaght on tape kicking and throwing luggage around got fired and now all work for UPS! Now who "wants to race the truck?"

Well, know we know why they charge so much for shipping.... to help pay for all the damage they cause. Oh... and never put fragile on something cause it is just an invitation for destruction... how many times have you been told to not touch.... and you did it anyway!

Re: New in box opti broken!!

took the opti apart, shocked it lasted as long as it did, oil was dripping out of it, the rotor was green from corrosion and the every electrical area was completely corroded. where one of the plugs goes in was filled with electrical corrosion..
