New best ET and MPH tonight... N/A LE car.. etc
Congrats on the new bests. Glad you got out there while the good weather is still here.
It's interesting for me to see what your car does on the back half. I ran at www.baronadrags.com our mountain track this weekend (2100ft DA) and ran some very similar times. I think mine went 7.28 @ 95.5 on a 1.61. My car was down on mph do to the DA, but I've been curious what a similar setup car would run on the back half.
Congrats again.
EDIT: Looks like your car MPH'd higher the lower your 60ft? I've debated that issue with others on this site, did you find that to be true for you?

good job getting everything dialed in.
Some suspension should really help. Adjustable Tq Arm, drag shocks and anti roll bar should get you in the 1.4x 60 ft range and a 10.9x even at the same HP level.
FWIW, I have stock suspension other than LCA's also (got em cheap) and my car gets 1.59-1.62 60 fts consistantly with a best of 1.58. I have a smaller converter (Yank SS 3200) but more cubes (383) so it all equals out.
What is your CPT trans set to shift at? 6600, 6800?
I just upped the shift points in my car from 6100 to 6500 RPM and was a lil concerned about the trans lasting. With the trans programmed to shift at 6100, the stock trans would complete the shift at 6700-6900 and sometimes tag the 7000 rev limiter. The new CPT trans completed the shift at 6300 RPM so I figures a 6500 RPM shift point would complete the shift at 6700-6800 RPM. Just wanted some assurance the trans can handle that HP level and RPM. If yours can handle it, I am sure mine can.

I do what I can.
Thanks man.
It's tough to say on the 60' vs. MPH thing.. I was playing with the converter all night changing up my launch.. I was giving it some more RPM towards the end of the night. The last run where I didn't do so well (not posted).. I was holding about 1900 RPM and the car didn't seem to like it. 1500-1600 RPM seems to be the sweet spot so far.
I have found at times though that a hair lower 60' will end up with a nicer ET but very slightly lower MPH... (usually just .1 mph or so...)

Lloyd..
Shift points are at 6800 RPM... I think that Bryan has it set to start a little before that and complete by 6800.. not sure? Regardless, the CPT trans holds the shift no problem. The 1-2 shift is so hard at the track it still surprises me
With the 4.11's it comes quick after the 60' too.
I definitely have to work on the 60'.... but it hooks, so I guess it's in the suspension at this point. Can't make it power out of the hole anymore that it does I don't think.
Oh, and here's the vids:

Scroll down a bit and you'll see the car's setup. I think that's relatively complete. It's hard to remember everything sometimes.
6700-6800.. not positive.

Great job Javier!!! I think suspension would be my next mod...Your 60's are damn impressive, though, especially considering your lack of mods...I think you and I are on the mph bubble for 10s n/a..Good luck...Again, very nice...
