Ken, I have to be a moving target man..or you guys get too comfortable. You going to the BG race?

Race weight is around 3270 wit no pass seat. 3300 with the seat in.

HBH..look me up if you see me. Love to talk to other racers.

Kurt - that is unburnt fuel lighting off between shifts. It was bad with the stock computer but with the dfi setup I'm able to better tune it.

All track runs/dyno runs were on pure 93 pump gas.

Well Tim as soon as I get my car back to the track and tuned my next project will be a 6 point rollbar. The only bad thing is as soon as I get that done the car will run 9's and it still won't be legal to run. But i have decided not to go any further with the car for the time being. I just want it legal to run 10.00's and leave it alone for awhile. I am not ready to get a Compettion license and all the associated BS involved. Hopefully I will have the car ready to run for the Thunder Shootout this year. If I don't have my bar in I will just bracket race it and slow it down to 11.50's I guess. later Clint

I'm current runnin 11.3:1. At what point would I have to start running octane higher than 93?

Tim, nope just going to NPR in November. Have Bracket Team Finals in San Antonio in September. That's $1000 in gas between those two events. Need to start winning some more races..

Client, I have a wolf bolt in 6 point for sale. At least at that point you can run more than one pass on motor..lol. And you can learn when to activate the nitrous to keep it at 10.0s...just spray in 2nd..lol.

I hear ya man. It gets expensive quick to go to these things. I'm lucky to have one..arguably the best one... in my back yard. Looking forward to racing with ya again. Now..get that thing where I'm lookin out my side window at ya when we pass through the traps

Derrick, When I get this thing leaving right..with good air it should be pretty crazy what this little motor will do. I'm hopin to whittle this down to the 10.5 range before the good stuff gets here.

Ryan..stop in and say hey at thunder. I love to talk to other lt1 people. We are few and far between at these races.

Awesome, Tim.

You're almost into LS1 Cam-Only record

Just think.. another second off that time and you'll be up with Allan Futral's 346 cube motor

Hahahhaha.. just playin.. goddamned nice MPH. The summer is definetly killin the times.

Re: New best, 355 6 speed NA. 10.72

bla bla..I'm about 500 lbs heavier than these "cam only " cars...yea right. And allan and me on the same track same day..with me having problems with a failing msd box were only .5 off. I was the 3rd fastest car at that race with a field full of ls1 cars..If it would have been running right I would have been #2. Oh well..guess the ls1 isn't so mighty I would bet I was 1 of 2 cars doing in on pump gas also.

I know your messin man..you ls1 guys and that complex. Sorry I'm bruising some of their egos with a lowly stock cranked , 2 bolt main t1.

Tim...no doubt . Sending you a PM.

Kraest is just jealous his LSone wasn't the first cam only/XXXX header/green color/ 3/4 tank of gas car to run XXXX@xx with XXXX an issue at XXXX a DA. You get the idea LS1 vs. LT1. Whatever makes you feel better at night, right?
