The car idles when started and idles in neutral after been driven but when clutch is pushed in while driving the engine dies. The car hasn't had it's final tuning and has open headers for now. I also get a SES light. Why won't it idle when coasting when it will idle when sitting???

 

Do you have your o2's hooked up?
Also Drive down to Autozone and have them tell you what SES you have, it's free.

 

yah the o2's are def in, but i do have open headers, so they're only about 3-4inches away from the open air, could it be that the vavles aren't quite adjusted right?it felt like it was stumbling some, i think thats where the ses light may be coming from, misfire. I only have the stock coil on with the MSD Dig. 6 ignition, could that be a problem?
