Never uderestimate the power of a good batery ground

Just thought I would share this with everyone seeing as how I saw another post with the same probs I was having but now cant find the post. My car was really hard to start, even impossible when warmed up. Ignition would break up at around 4500 rpm and up. Didnt feel like i was getting the power I should from a stroker. Then i couldnt get my car to start at all. Solenoid would just click like a dead battery symptom. Crawled under the car and found the main battery ground to be loose. Moved the ground to another location made sure it was tight and all of my problems disappeared. Car fires right up everytime and pulls HARD!! to redline.
Its amazing how one wire can solve a whole slew of problems!!!

You're right many mistakenly take those ground straps too lightly. I'll bet the ground strap gremlin gets more f-body guys than we can imagine. I make it a point to keep those ground contacts clean and tight. I learned this many years ago when I had a 67 Vette. Fiberglass does not ground. Wiring had to be done very well and there were numerous ground straps.
