Never Seize, or thread sealant...

For rocker arm studs that DO NOT protrude into the intake port?

You mean blind holes? Use neither, but never-seez, although it wouldn't hurt anything, would alter your torque spec.

It means the hole just bottoms out, doesnt hit water or anything else that the threads would need to be sealed from.

Gotcha!

Two holes DO have oil in them though. Just a little bit. But I didn't see a hole in it anywhere.

What do you guys put on rocker studs that DO protrude into the intake port? Liquid teflon sealer?

David: Permatex Thread Sealant.

Marshall:The oil that is down in the bottom of the hole seeped in there through the threads of the stud. If your worried about it then use the sealant but you will be fine.

I used the ARP sealant that I used for the head bolts.
