Need a ZR1 17x11 repaired - slightly bent

My rear ZR1 wheel is slightly bent. I was going to get some z06 wheels but money is tight so I'm just going to fix the one bad rim.

Can wheel shops fix a slightly bent rim? If so, what business should I give a call and about how much $ am I looking at? Thanks

There are shops that can fix messed up wheels, but I'd ask a reputable wheel/tire shop like Discount Tire who is worth calling. My brother paid $100 to have one Impala wheel welded/straightened/refinished.

Hopefully you'll be able to find someone close to you to repair your rim. However, when I warped one of my SS rims on a pothole, most places would not touch aluminum rims. A friend referred me to a place that wasn't local, but at least in the same state.

Anyway, here's the contact info in case you have trouble finding somewhere:

WHEEL FIX IT
4800 COMMERIAL DR NW
HUNTSVILLE, AL
(256) 830-9992

They did an awesome job on the repair. I don't remember the exact cost, this was a few years ago, but I believe it was in the neighborhood of $100.

Good luck.

Yeah, unfortunately aluminum is not maleable, it will want to crumble if bent back and forth, so it could be a structural weakness thing that shops want to avoid, just like many places dont like touching caliper repairs if its not their specialty.
