Need suggestions on Header Gaskets and Bolts...

which type fo gasket should i get round port style or square port style, i'm looking at Percy's header gaskets and didnt know which type to get, prolly a stupid question but then again i'm not that bright
also whats the best type of header bolts to use, i dont want to use locking just a good set of regular header bolts, both of these would be used on a set of Jet Hot LT's.

I'm hopefully buying the headers and y-pipe from a guy here in the forsale section, he had them on a 95 Z28 will the headers and y-pipe fit on my 97 Z28?
they are Jet hot LT's and a Mufflex Y-pipe.

New factory steel gaskets will last a loonnggg time.
High quality bolts that can be turned with a wrench or allen drive can be a big time saver.

I vote factory ones. I put them on w/ my mac headers and when I took them off a year and a half later (head gasket blew), they didn't have a single leak upon visual inspection of the gaskets.

I have tried the 1406 and they leaked. Also used the percys and they leaked. So far the only gaskets that have worked are they stock replacements.

I've used Mr. Gasket for quite a while now on a several different kinds of headers with no leaks.

Would the stock replacements work well for AS&M headers? I once had a loose bolt on my manifolds, and I mean a really loose bolt which allowed for a hella exhaust leak. Anyhow, I let it do that for a while (BAD MISTAKE) and it never even ruined the gasket! They seem to be pretty badass if they would work for aftermarket headers?

I had the worst luck recently w/ my pacesetter install... The Earl's gaskets worked great. Whereas the other ones.. Felpro's, Mr Gaskets, and stock replacement all leaked. First time I've ever had this many problems though. I used to use felpro 1406's w/out issue on my hooker lt's.
