Hey guys outside of the 97 z28 I also have a 2000 Isuzu Rodeo 4x4. I know this is the chevy board but any advice from you guys would be helpful. I just bought the car last week and it has started being very slow to crank, you have to hold the key over longer and longer each time, and sometimes when it cranks it will idle really rough for a second and then stall out and you have to crank it again. When it does crank you can usually give it a little gas to get it going and its fine. Besides the hard time starting, the car runs and drives great. Sometimes it fires right up with no problems at all. do you have any suggestions on this?
I would think battery but that wouldnt explain it dying back out after it cranks would it? The local "pros" at autozone said the battery test fine. im thinking of changing the fuel filter tonight, could that be it??

Loose connection in the electrical system? Plugs? Alternator?

Possibly the even more obvious: Starter?

My guess is a combination of starter and somthing electrical.
