need some advice on new exhaust

Im heading to iraq in a few months, and im thinking about making the car a little more fun before i go. I want to do pacesetter LTs , high flow cats, guessing a y pipe, and gmmg chambered. would this be a good setup, what kinda other stuff am i gonna need, and how hard would it be to install?

That sounds like a hell of an exhaust. You'll need to get some welding done. O2 extensions and some 02 sims for the rear O2s. Other than that you are golden. The pacesetters come with bolts and gaskets... people here have ran them with no problem. Install isnt too difficult. It's more time consuming than anything.

Sounds like a good setup, also plan on the small things that the above guy mentioned.

use gm exhaust manifold gaskets for header gaskets instead of what comes with your headers. hooker supercomp, catted y, and borla sound good and make good power also.

Re: need some advice on new exhaust

also see post 6, but use SLP's loudmouth catback. that should bake some serious sound and power.

You might want to consider getting a tune rather than O2 sims. It will cost a little more but you will also get a lot more out of it - "more bang for the buck". Sounds like a top notch set-up though!
