I was running my car today, and usually I'm able to catch it before rev limiter hits at 6700 but.. was not so fortunate today, it kicked it, backfired my car, car dies, I had to pop the clutch to start it because it wasn't starting by key, and now anything above 3k rpms shakes the car to crap like it's getting too much fuel or something.

 

Sometimes a high rev hit will shred the rotor in the opti. Hopefully not something more serious.

 

Well my mechanic seems to think it was a couple valve springs and or push rods cause I really only feel it above 3k rpms so Ima take the Valve covers off and take a peep this weekend.
