Need to replace opti seal when changing opti?

Hey guys,

My car is a 1997 - and I am replacing the optispark. It just got a motor refresh about 3,000 miles ago and I changed the opti seal then. Just wondering if I have to change this seal again now that my optispark went bad. thanx in advance....

If it's never been changed it's not a bad idea since your already in there and it cost about $3.

I bought one yesterday, from the stealership it was less than $10. But, he said he changed it a K's ago. If it's not broke.......don't fix it.
