Question Need of relocation brackets on lowered M6, quick question??

Okay, my buddies and I just got done installing my eibach pro kit, and are getting ready to install my new lca's and relocation brackets. One guy says I need the relocation brackets, that they will help, the other guy says I don't need them because I have a six speed, which guy is right.
They are the bolt in relocation brackets. If I install them will the help? If I install them will they hinder performance any?
Thanks guys.

I don't think that it really matters if your car as an A4 or M6, when you lower a car you throw off the geometry. From what I've read, you'll need those relocation brackets to make your LCA usefull again. If you don't install them you're not going to get any traction. My brother lowered his car a while back and didn't install the brackets right away and traction suffered severely!
If I'm wrong on anything, somebody correct me!

Having a six speed doesn't matter. You lowered the car, thus changing the geometry of the LCA's on the car. They are at a more horizontal angle since you lowered the car, and are not providing the "bite" that they should. Get a set of Lower Control Arm drop brackets, and a set of Lower Control Arms. It will help out a lot.

yeah you really need them, and they also help for better traction even if you don't lower http://www.spohn.net/index.cfm?fusea...t&productid=11 So they are worth the money since our cars have such bad traction problems
