Need quick spark plug help

I changed my plugs and wires today, and now the car's running like crap. It's lacking power, feels like it's missing on one or two cylinders, and the SES light is coming on. Idling roughly too.
The driver side is wired right. I haven't rechecked the passenger side yet because i'm just really dreading it, plus i had to wait for the headers to cool down.
No wires are touching the headers (I don't think. I tried to make sure of that.)
Could it have anything to do with the fact that I used colder plugs? I used NGK T6 plugs because i've heard to go one step colder for every 80-100 horses you add.

I have to get back under the car tomorrow and figure this out, so somebody please give me some likely possibilities. Thanks.

a couple of months ago before i went to the track my car also felt a cylinder or two short. i thought it was just a dirty intake so i took it out for a drive and smashed the pedal, and only left about a five foot line of rubber(on 7 cylinders). any ways the next morning i checked it out and the pass. side wire was cut in half, no idea how replaced all wires and it lays down more than 30ft of rubber now!!

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm hoping i didn't burn a wire, but i don't think so because it was idling rough from the initial cold start. I also regapped the plugs to a little under .050 (between .044 and .054. Should I have left them at .035 even though I'm not running a power adder?

I would keep your gap at .050 and ditch the colder plug.
I had a 71 chevelle once and when I bought it I had no idea what motor it had in it and I bought colder plugs than what it needed and the car would barely run, I think you would only need a colder plug if you had a power adder of some sort but I could be wrong.

Anybody else? I'd like to try to fix this starting in about 2 hours or so. Anybody know for sure whether the colder plug could make my car run poorly?
