need part # for coolant hose, how much for windshield?

welp, i've been having some bad luck lately. two days ago i was driving home and my check gauges light came on. the temperature was pegged at max temp. my heater doesn't work so i couldn't use that to help cool the engine. luckily i was right down the street and i made it home. when i stopped steam was shooting out the bottom of the car for a couple minutes after i had stopped. i just had water pump, opti, and cam done so i figured my new waterpump went bad. i just spent every spare penny on getting all that work done and now this happened. i slept it off, and today borrowed a car to get to work. when i get home, my windshield is destroyed. looks like someone took a bat to it. the weird thing is i don't know anybody that would do this, and i live in a nice neighborhood. anyways i think it was some bored kids with nothing better to do on a sunday morning. worst part was my pop heard this happening after i left for work around 5am and he didn't go outside. now that he knows what had happened he was really pissed he didn't go outside. i wish they could have caugth em.

anyways i got under my car today, H20 pump seems okay, i have a tear in a radiator hose, need a part number. it is the hose that comes off the bottom of the water pump on the left hand side and goes towards the passenger side by the alternator.

also how much will it cost to replace the windshield??

are you talking about the valve that goes from the water pump to the heater core? mine broke also......quick easy fix.
shouldnt your insurance company pay for the windshield? previous owner of my car had it replaced and the bill was like $700 but his insurance paid for it..

sorry to hear about that stuff happening

I don't know why people ask for part numbers, but won't ever say what year or model their car is.

Radiator hoses . If it is #1 in the diagram, it happens to be the same for 95-97, too.

I paid a little over $200 for a new windshield to be put in. I was really suprised that it was so cheap. One look at that massive front windshield and $$ appear in my head, lol.

That would be #12 here. Just slit it with a knife to get it off. If you are replacing it, you don't need to worry about hurting the old hose.

in the picture it looks like 13 is barbed or smooth and 12 should slide over it, possibly held on with a hose clamp. however on my car there is a metal clamp thing that is not a regular hose clamp. it is just a piece of metal that looks like it was squeezed and holds 12 and 13 together. i can't get 12 free from 13. i need to get the metal thing off and to put on a regular hose clamp but i can't get the metal thing off! i just busted a knuckle too. how do i get this metal clamp off? there is no screw, and no visible release method.

this thing is such a pita! why can't they use normal hose clamps like everyone else instead of this one piece metal tube that is crimped in two places to connect the tubes?!!

It is a collar that is swaged on that end. You will have to Dremel or saw the metal collar off (make sure you cut only the collar). You will then be able to put a hose clamp on the new hose. Sorry, that's just the way these hoses are made.

can i cut the hose after 13 on the diagram and attach it to the waterpump thereby eliminating the valve and those seals? what does the valve thing do?
