Need OTVC Plug Wire Part Number

I'm wanting to use an MSD or Accel CUT-TO-FIT universal set - 8mm in a black color.

I've gotten 3 sets WRONG from Summit. It's really starting to **** me off. So for those of you using the OTVC sets. In black. About 8mm. PLEASE give me a part number at Summit or Jegs. Preferably Summit since I will have a credit with them when I return this set...

THANKS GUYS

I could be wrong, but I don't believe MSD makes a cut to fit set in black. I wanted black wires, so I decided to just buy bulk wire, and all the other stuff, and make my own.

I appreciate it guys. I was just trying to get some regular part number so I could cross them over to Summit since I'll have a credit there. But it looks like I may have to take my business elsewhere...

You could always buy MSD components from Summit and make your own wires.

Sounds like a good idea. Got any part numbers?

The MSD Opti Boots are MSD-3302.
The MSD Spark Plug Boots are MSD-8850.
25 Feet of Black MSD 8.5mm Super Conductor wire is MSD-34013.

The Made For You looms that I used, which route the wires over the top of the valve covers, were part number MFY-50310-11. They are 10.5mm looms. I ran heat shield the length of my wires, and those looms worked good for that. For just the 8.5mm wire, they might be too large.

I also bought a 6 foot piece of wire just in case the 25 feet wasn't enough. That was MSD-34033.

All of those part numbers are for Summit. I think they just add the MSD prefix to the actual part number in case you want to check prices on other sites.

I also bought a wire crimper, SUM-900400. You'll also want some dielectric grease.

It's not that hard to do, but it's probably not what a lot of people would consider real cheap either. In the end, it may not actually be much more than their cut to fit sets. Let me know if you have other questions. I'll be glad to help if I can.

You just made my day ... well ... sort of.

When you ordered the Opti ends:
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MSD-3302/

It says sold as a "Pair" on both Summit and Jegs. That doesn't mean I need (4) pairs does it? Go figure I can put an engine together, but I can't figure out what to order to make Ignition Wires ...

They come in a set of 2, so yes you need 4 of those. And they are a PITA, because you have to crimp them just right so the wire slides into the opti port.

Ultra super homo gay...

Call me lazy ... but this is worth the $50 extra to not have to assemble wires in my (limited) time away from work. Likewise, it comes with nice looking wire separators... This is a done deal.

Super Conductor 8.5MM's cut to length for OTVC with proper LT1 boots, wire looms/separators included.
