LOL thanks
What are some expectations i'll expect from Madz28.com.
I have a 97 crew cab diesel dually & with no chip I can barely get the tires to spin. with the flip chip installed I get a 3rd gear bark. So in the diesel scene a flip chip is like night & day power

You wont get anywhere near the same results with a chip/programming on a F-Body. Tune you car when it really take advantage of it. Such as intake/full header/catback exhaust at least.

That's a desiel though.............this is gas....you won't see near as much.

Save for some headers or gears or slap on some roller rockers that's a good gain.

Re: need more power

You need to set some reasonable goals (financial and otherwise) before you start to mod your car. Take it from someone who's sunk a small fortune in his cars

What do you want the car to do? Driveability important? Need to smog? How much money can you afford to throw away at the car? Like stated earlier, a tune simply will not produce results like a chip does for a diesel - we're comparing apples to oranges here.

Re: need more power

lol....comparing tuning on diesels is totally different.

with a hand held programmer you can get anywhere from -5hp to +5hp gains, but you can adjust shift points and rev limiters which is handy.

with custom tuning you're looking at about 10-15hp gains as well as all the adjustments on the other things that you want.

you want night/day difference....get nitrous
