Question Need major help guys...

During my camshaft install for some reason the WP gear bearings decided to pop out the back into my lifter valley. Despite all my efforts I have been able to get the gear and bearing to go back into the track. Can anyone help? Also how many bearings are there in total b/c I only found 7?

My car has been down for 7 days and this is holding me up so any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks,
Chris

Thanks. It seems as though everything I do ends up being a disaster. I take one step forward and 2 steps backwards. I still have not been able to figure out why the WP gear bearings would just come out but having to pull the intake a 2nd time was a miracle in disguise b/c who knows what those bearings would have done to my engine.

I was looking at one the other day, I'm pretty sure there's more than 7 bearings in it... sorry I can't check the part is at a friend's house.

After doing a little research it seems as though the WP gear driveshaft is supposed to be pressed out of the bearing. I guess I will have to get a new bearing and press the gear into it.

Does anyone have the part number?

For future reference part number 10219554. Bearing not sold separately...you have to buy the entire gear/driveshaft assembly.
