I have searched to no avail for a sound/vid clip of an lt1 with Mac midlength headers, off road pipe (I straight piped mine), and magnaflow catback. I am almost dead set on this catback, but would like to be sure it will sound decent, and help my torque out. I would like it to include a warm idle, high rev, light rev, and possibly a fly by.

EDIT: In the rev vid the car wasn't as warm as it was in the driving vid, hence the more rasp. But no matter what, you'll have that rasp with headers.

 

I'll have that exact setup fairly soon i think> Just need to put the mac's in..

Alright! Stock exhaust is too restrictive, quiet, and my cutout is too "droning" I guess. Not to mention the lowend torque I lost after I gutted the ol' cat.

Keep in mind that it was a bit cold when I revved it during idle, so there was a bit more rasp than normal.

 

Anyone else? The volume seemed alittle low?
