need little help quickly..

I have one question that should be easy for someone.. just not me.. I had the code that my driver side cat converter was bad.. so i took it off today only to realize that my O2 sensor behind the cat was not plugged in.. must have been the exhaust shop.... could this be the source of my problem? or shall i just knock the guts out of my cat anyway? thanks

99% sure that the O2 sensor is your problem. However, after you plug it back in, get the codes cleared and if it comes back then it may be your cat instead.

itll sound slightly tinny and raspy and youll definetely be setting codes all the time, but other than that, no, youll flow slighty better and you may like the sound better, itll definetely be a little louder.
