Okay guys I need a little help here on the board. Go to 3rd gen tech and look under " whats the deal with the 3rd gen" Okay this guy wanted to know what people thought about how the thrid gen l98 ran like compared to the fourth gen lt1. Now I give this guy a example of what I have experinced with both motors and tell him that after you start modded the two that the l98 will not stay in the same area code as a lt1. Now I have a bunch of pissed off 13 second tpi lovers bashing me saying that I cant tune and I dont know what I am talking about even though my lt1 is running 10's. Please show a little support and tell these guys that they are wrong or please let me now if I live in the only state that has nice running lt1's and slow tpi's because I have not had or seen one at the track that is that fast for what all they have done to them. All I was trying to do was let this guy know were the best bang for the buck was and now all those tpi freaks are talking smack. I am all for helping each other out because a camaro is camaro and we are on the same team. But lets let those tpi guys know that they cant hang with a lt1 motor.

from your fellow 3rd gen techian, the tpi owners r just protective of theyre ****, dont take it personaly, i get the same way when ppl talk about my LG4, im sure you would get the same way if sum1 said that stuff about ur motor, dont take it personal dude, its only natural for ppl to be protective.............

Yeah, you have to admire a few of them (the ones that aren't jerks). They start with a handycap and make their cars fast anyways. And as I said, at least they aren't driving mustangs.

 

how true, im sick of all the five oh's in town, i cant wait till one comes up behind me revn' his motor like a retard, as soon as i get my car goin, they wont know what hit em...mwahahaha...............there r only 2 or 3 NICE 3rd gens in my town, and mine is gunna be one of em.....stangs....well, dime a dozen

 

My GTA will be nice if it ever gets finished... who knew making headers was such a PITA??
