I just took apart my motor and had some questions. I recently purchased the cc306 and some 1.6 rr. I need to know what springs would be best for the stock heads, because I don't have enough money to get headwork done. Also my motor has 150000 miles on it and still runs like a scalded dog. When I got the motor apart the bottom end looked to be in fine condition there was no play in any of the bearings. I have heard that the 306 was rough on bearings. Along with what I have I am also getting a torque converter, does anybody have anymore suggestions?

 

How about would you suggest doing that?
