Question NEED info..cars been in storage..water where and not where is should be?? any ideas.

Okay just before I put the car in storage it was very cold out..in the sigle digits..was running my car most of the time like that..for about a week...got the company car back and used that..put the Camaro back in storage..
Now I went and looked at it last night in the garage..its heated and such..
but I checked the oil cap and say water droplets on the inside of the cap..and some water droplets on the filler neck.feared the worst..took the neck off and saw no oil/H2O sludge on the area where you can see the head and was like okay...it looked clean in there..nothing that sugested other than oil in the engine..took the dipstick out..nothing wrong there...
so just for curiosity I opened the radiator cap..it was low..not real low but low..took about a 20OZ bottle of size of water to fill back up..and looked in the overflow resivoir..that was bone dry to..so I filled it up to the cold mark..
now the week before it was like 0 DEG out would that make the things I notice do that..over the winter? being that cold??? just wondering ??
