Red face Need immediate help with my shifter, not right gear

The shop that installed my NX kit installed the micro switch in the shifter so that the button on the shifter that is mashed in to shift out of gear is also the button to spray. The "local" shop is a good distance away and I would like to hopefully get this taken care of by myself. The problem: I have no "park."
The car will not shift into park. Where park is on the shifter plate, its now putting the car in reverse. Now I have reverse which has replaced "park" and reverse as it should be. The shifter doesn't want to go stay in what is now reverse and can be pulled out of gear relatively easy. I took the shifter plate off but I'm not sure what I should be looking for. Can anyone shed some light on the subject? I apologise for the vague description but I'm learning. Thanks

Don't worry, this is probably an easy fix. Just jack up the driver's side of the car, and crawl under there to the trans. On the side, you'll see where the shift linkage meets the trans. You probably just need to adjust this. Take a look under there, and you'll see what I'm talking about.
