Friend of mine is upgrading from the hotcam to a cc306 and wants opinions as to what he should get the idle set at when the pcm is reprogrammed... I know everyone has there preferences but if you have or know of any soundclips or vids and the actuall idle speed please post them here. Thanks!

 

M6 or auto? With an auto probably around 800. My cam isn't much smaller than a 306 and i have my idle @ 800 in drive on my A4.

800 seems really low for a 306 I've got the 502 (218/224 112) and my car idles best around 875 at operating temp. You might ask over in the programing section!
