Question need help w/ driveshaft

I am in the process of changing my clutch and after I took out my driveshaft I saw that you are supposed to mark the u-joint before removal and put back the same way. Both ends look the same to me. Is there any way to tell w/out marking it how it is supposed to go back in. And can someone explain to me what's the difference? What will happen WHEN I guess wrong on the 50/50 shot I have?

It is basically to keep the shaft balanced with the pinion yoke. If there was an issue with balance at the factory, they would have matched them up. That is why you should put it back like it was. If you notice any vibes you did not have before, pull the shaft out of the pinion yoke, rotate shaft 180º and put it back in the yoke.

Thanks for the help... Just wanted to make sure it wasn't anything that would ruin the u-joint.
