Need Help, thermostat housing.

well today i went to install my 160 Thermostat and i took off one bolt passenger side to give you an idea but the drivers side one snapped off. All i see is thread now maybe half an inch. To say the least even the one on the passenger side that i took off is very rusty. Im assuming thats how the other one is maybe the reason why it snapped off. Is there any method or anything i can do to get this bolt of again all i see is threads and its on there tight not loose. Thanks in advance

Try to get some vice grips on it and remove it. Then get a new bolt and you should be good. They also have a device but i forget what it's called but it will back that out. You drill a small hole in the bolt and use the backout to remove it. Maybe soak it in some liquid wrench first if its real bad.

PB Blaster and one of those tools that grips protruding, broken bolts.
