Do you mean the stock coolant temp sensor on the drivers side head?

Did you try a hex deep socket of appropriate size and a breakover bar? If you have eaten it up too much with the vice grips, just hammer the socket on and then pry away, lets you put a big ol cheater on there as well, you might also try heating it a little.

Also try soaking it with WD40 or the like, and use the breaker bar to get some real leverage on it.

YOu know what. Its ok thanks guys anyway. Im going to take to the radaitor shop. ANd let them deal with it. NOW I have another question for you GUY.s I had a bad intake gasket. IT actually slipped. SO i replaced it and dapp it down real good with RTV and Dapp the INtake down with RTV. How Do I properly bleed the system so that theres no AIR in there and its properly cooling right. IF i cant do it. Im taking it to the radiator shop

An LT1 doesnt have coolant flow through the intake manifold, the crossover is that little metal tube that connects at the back of each head and comes forward to the rad.
