Need help with replacing the clutch MC...

OK, this is my 2nd failed attempt at getting this SOB out. I dropped the lower dash and kick panel, pulled the clip and pushrod off the clutch pedel, and the two screws off the firewall. I can get the studs and MC to wiggle, but it will not move. What is the deal? It seems like the studs hit the back of the brake booster. Am I missing something?

Thanks
Steve

just did this two times in the last week.....

no...the "stud" is a piece of rod stock bent into a "U" and the open end of the U was too wide....WAS A B&$@TCH to pull out....had to tug and tug and tug....much blood loss....when you get it out....match the U up to the firewall better before putting it back in....you will be happy you did

OK, so it is just a bitch to get out.

What about the brake booster? Is that not in the way?

Thanks,
Steve
