You might be able to force the window up against the window motor with the door panel off, but don't know for sure. I have never tried it.

If the motor has been replaced before by my method, you could remove the motor, raise the window and then put the motor back in until you can get it replaced. But if you were gonna do that, you might as well replace the motor while in there.

I should have replaced the motor myself the first time this happened. When they replaced it they riveted everything back in. When i pulled up on the window, it only moved about an inch.

Any one have any ideas on what i can do to secure it for two nights, Other then a garbage bag and tape????
